
The Technologies Driving Today’s Displays
The rapid pace of digitalization has kept display technology in constant motion. In just a few decades, the industry has moved from bulky cathode ray tubes, the heavy TV cabinets that once defined how we saw the world on screen, to today’s ultra-thin OLED panels that push the boundaries of color, contrast, and design. In between, entire generations of technology have appeared and disappeared, some gradually refined, others abandoned, and new approaches continue to surface at a remarkable pace.
